Tigers Get Blanked In Cleveland

Corey Kluber and Andrew Miller combined on a two-hitter as the Indians blanked the Tigers 2-0 in Cleveland.

Kluber stuck out 13 over eight frames of two-hit ball and Miller worked a clean ninth to notch his first save.  Bradley Zimmer hit a two-run homer in the fifth to break a scoreless tie.

Francisco Liriano surrendered two runs over six innings in a tough-luck loss for Detroit.

Victor Martinez and Nicholas Castellanos had the Tigers' hits as they dropped to 4-and-5.

Buck Farmer left after one third of an inning in relief with a hip spasm and is listed as day-to-day.

Tonight, Matthew Boyd takes the mound for Detroit while Cleveland counters with Josh Tomlin.
