Tigers Lose 7-6 To Diamondbacks

The Tigers were able to close a six run deficit, but fell to the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-6 last night at Comerica Park.

Detroit scored six times in the sixth inning, including a two-run home run from J.D. Martinez and the score stayed tied until the ninth when David Peralta hit a solo shot to put Arizona ahead for good.

Starter Buck Farmer gave up six runs on nine hits in two and one third innings and Justin Wilson got the loss after surrendering one run.

Jordan Zimmermann will get the start for Detroit in tonight's series finale, while Arizona sends Taijuan Walker to the mound.
