Tigers Snap Losing Streak
Victor Reyes hit a two-run single in the second inning as the Detroit Tigers edged the Seattle Mariners 3-2 at Comerica Park.
Harold Castro plated the other run in the third.
Edwin Jackson gave up just two runs over five innings to get the win. Joe Jimenez notched the save for Detroit, which snapped a three-game losing skid.
J.P. Crawford and Daniel Vogelbach homered for Seattle. Marco Gonzales allowed three runs over six innings to take the loss for the Mariners, who have lost nine of their last 11.
Spencer Turnbull is scheduled to go to the mound Thursday afternoon for Detroit in the rubber match of the MLB series.
