Tigers Whip White Sox

The Tigers blasted four home runs, including three in a six-run fourth inning, as they whipped the White Sox 10-2 in Chicago.

Jeimer Candelario homered in the first, and Mikie Mahtook, Ronny Rodriguez and JaCoby Jones all connected in the fourth for Detroit.

Jordan Zimmermann allowed just two hits over five shutout innings for the win.

Rookie Michael Kopech gave up seven runs, including all four homers, in less than four innings to suffer the loss.  

Detroit is off tonight, but will host the St. Louis Cardinals for a weekend series starting tomorrow night.
