Traffic Stop Leads to $5,000 Drug Bust in LaSalle

A Leamington man has been charged after a routine traffic stop turned into a drug bust. 

On Tuesday April 2nd, Provincial Police stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway 3 in LaSalle and officers noticed a quanity of cannabis readily available. 

A search of the vehicle turned up 50 grams of suspected cocaine, worth an estimated $5,000 on the street, along with $2,000 in cash. 

A 34-year old man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
