Eddie Rosario hit a tiebreaking homer in the eighth inning and the Twins scored all of their runs with longballs in a 5-4 decision over the Tigers.

Max Kepler and Jake Cave had two-run homers as the Twins won for the fifth time in six games.

Minnesota led 4-1 after the fourth-inning blasts by Kepler and Cave.

Trevor Hildenberger picked up the win in relief.

A mix-up led to the Tigers changing starting pitchers.

Jacob Turner was to have started against the Twins, but hadn't sat the required 10 days after being designated for assignment August 10th.

Buck Farmer took the mound for Detroit instead.

The Tigers are off today, but they welcome the Cubs to Comerica Park for a two-game Interleague series starting tomorrow.

Jordan Zimmermann will oppose Kyle Hendricks in the opener.
