Twins Trim Toronto 3-2

Byron Buxton's solo homer in the bottom of the 10th gave the Twins a 3-2 win over the Blue Jays in Minneapolis.  Jorge Polanco singled in two for Minnesota, which has a three-game lead on the Angels for the second AL wild card spot.

Dillon Gee (2-2) pitched one inning of relief for Minnesota, which earned its fifth walk-off win of the season and has won six of its past eight games.

Toronto's Justin Smoak had tied the game with a two-out homer in the top of the ninth off Twins closer Matt Belisle.

The Twins and Jays continue their four-game series tonight at Target Field.  Bartolo Colon will get the start for Minnesota.  Toronto will counter with lefty J.A. Happ.
