Mathea Olin made Canadian surfing history at the Pan American Games in Peru by winning bronze in the women's longboard competition.

The 16-year-old's medal was an historic first for Canada's surfing team.

Meantime, Canada's Miriam Brouwer and Maggie Coles-Lyster won silver in the women's cycling track finals — that's Canada's first ever medal in that event as well.

Also, Canada's men's baseball team missed out on a third straight Pan Am gold medal after a 6-1 loss to Puerto Rico.
