Unlocked Door Leads to Stranger in Windsor Home

A reminder from Windsor police about the importance of locking your doors.

Just before 8am on January 4th, officers responded to a break and enter call in the 2100 block of Hall Ave. near Tecumseh Rd.

The complainant reported that they were able to safely exit the home after observing someone inside.

When police got there, they could still see a suspect through the window, inside the house.

Officers along with the K-9 Unit, entered the home and arrested a 29-year-old woman without incident.

Police believe she entered through an unlocked door.
