UPDATE: Tornado Warning Ends for Windsor-Essex

A tornado warning has ended but a thunderstorm watch remains in effect for Windsor-Essex and thunderstorm warning is still in effect for Chatham-Kent.

Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that could develop into a tornado — the storm is located 9-km east of Colchester, moving at 60 km/h.

According to the warning, damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are possible.

Organizers have put the brakes on today's activities at the Detroit Grand Prix and Art in the Park here in Windsor due to storms rolling through the region.

The forecast for Saturday night should see more clouds with a 60 percent chance of showers and the risk of a thunderstorm...windy again with the overnight low dropping to 12.

Clearing up tomorrow morning...still windy with a high of 20.

Monday - Sunny skies with the high reaching 19.

Tuesday - More sun with a daytime high of 23.

Wednesday - Cloudy with a 60 percent chance of showers and a high of 25.
