VIDEO: No One Hurt in East-Windsor House Fire


A Windsor family is homeless after fire ripped through the back of their home in east-Windsor.

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services were called to a home in the 3300-block of Riberdy Rd. near Seymour Blvd. at around 12:30pm Saturday.

Firefighters arrived to find a blaze had broken out on in the back exterior of the home — first responders were able to get the fire under control quickly and no one was hurt.

Investigators determined the fire started in a rear porch area before spreading to the attic, but could not narrow down the cause of the blaze.

According to WFRS, a family of seven has been displaced.

Damage is pegged at $100,000.
