UPDATED: Suspect Arrested After Shooting At CMU

The suspect in a shooting at Central Michigan University has been apprehended.

He was seen and reported by an individual on a train passing through the campus early Saturday morning.

Law enforcement arrested the suspect without incident who has been identified as 19-year-old sophomore James Eric Davis Junior.

Central Michigan University police say the two people killed were Davis' parents who had come to campus to take their son home for spring break.

The shots reportedly came from the fourth floor of the residence hall shortly after 9am Friday.
