UPDATED: Windsor Regional Hospital Issues Security Alert
Officials at Windsor Regional Hospital are thanking the public for helping to find what it was calling a suspicious male.
Earlier today, the hospital released photos of a man who visited each of the hospital's emergency departments multiple times over the weekend, behaving in a manner that concerned the hospital's CEO and staff.
Windsor police have since located the man, spoke to him and determined there is no threat to public safety.
CEO David Musyj says the man, identified as 46-year-old Craig Barton, did not stay in the emergency department long enough for hospital staff to intervene.
The man is from the Toronto region and doesn't have a home in Windsor.
