UWindsor Students Rally Against Trump
University of Windsor students are saying 'no' to U.S. President Donald Trump.
A protest was held last night against a travel ban focused on seven mainly-Muslim countries.
Protest organizer Ahmed Khalifa says some UWindsor students who also study across the border have been affected by the ban. "We have students here who cannot cross the border to attend class at the University of Detroit Mercy because they will be detained at the border. So we feel like it is necessary for us to come out and say that we will not accept this kind of rhetoric in this country. We are a country that stands on the principles of diversity and inclusiveness."

About 100 students rallied against the ban along with Trump's proposed US-Mexico border wall along with the approval of the Keystone and Dakota Access oil pipelines.
Khalifa says it was not a one-time protest.
They plan to meet again in a few weeks.
