VIDEO: Lions Sign New Wide Receiver
The Detroit Lions have a new wide receiver.
The NFL team has signed Jermaine Kearse during the third and final day of a mandatory minicamp on Thursday.
The 29-year-old had one of the most memorable catches in a Super Bowl four years ago while playing for the Seattle Seahawks against New England when now Lions Head Coach, Matt Patricia was its defensive coordinator.
Kearse entered the NFL with Seattle as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2012 out of Washington and has 255 career catches for 3,290 yards and 17 touchdowns.
His deal with the Lions is reportedly a one-year deal worth $1.35-million with a max value of $2.3-million, including $350,000 guaranteed.
