VIDEO: The Reds Scooter Gennett Makes History, Hits 4 HR's

A history making night in Cincinnati.

Reds outfielder Scooter Gennett is the 17th player in MLB history to hit four home runs in a single game.

Gennett went 5-for-5 with 10 RBI in Cincinnati's 13-1 rout of the St. Louis Cardinals Tuesday night at Great American Ball Park.

Gennett is the first player to homer four times in a game since Josh Hamilton in 2012.

He's the first member of the Reds to ever accomplish the feat.

No player has ever hit more than four home runs in a game.

Gennett entered the game with three home runs all season and just 38 in his career.
