Watson Loses Bid For Alberta Politics

Jeff Watson's bid to re-enter politics has been unsuccessful.

As AM800 News told you back in June, Watson announced via his Facebook page, that he would be running in Alberta for the new 'United Conservative Party.'

On Thursday August 2nd, the party's nomination vote was held and Watson was defeated by Tayna Fir.

In 2015, Watson lost to Tracey Ramsey in Essex.

He later moved to Alberta later that year.

The new United Conservative Party is a merger between the PCs and Wildrose party in Alberta.
