Windsor Boy Raises Hospice Funds For Fifth Year
A 12-year-old Windsor boy is doing good once again for Hospice Face-To-Face campaign.
Christopher Greige has raised $1118 this year selling lemonade for the the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County fundraiser.
It's his 5th year raising the money and he says it's simply to do what he can for those in need.
Now in it's 15th year, the Face to Face campaign helps to fund the programs and services provided to hospice patients.
Greige says he's already looking ahead to next year and wants to raise even more.
"I hope that I can do more than this year." said Greige. "My goal for next year is $1,500."
Organizer John Fairley says the response from people like Greige is appreciated.
"We thought by now, in 15 years, that all the people would have step forward." said Fairley. "And new people are coming - thats what makes the campaign so special. Our goal is $65,000 and I think thats reachable."
This years fundraiser wrapped up September 30th.
