Windsor Housing Market Slows But Remains A Sellers' Market

The Windsor resale housing market remains a sellers market.

The latest report from the Conference Board of Canada indicates July sales slid from June by 8.5%, but were up a bit from last July.

The report shows nearly 7000 properties changed hands and there were over 10,000 listings.

The average price of a home sold was $248,000, a decline of more than 5% from June, but almost 12% above a year ago.

Nationally, the Conference Board report sales fell back in 19 of the 28 market areas.
