Windsor Man Arrested In Connection to Amherstburg Theft

A Windsor man is facing a number of charges in connection to a break and enter at a business in Amherstburg.

Officers with the Windsor Police - Amherstburg Detachment were called Sunday to a report of a break and enter at a business in the 7800 block of Howard Avenue.

A large quantity of electronics and construction-style equipment were reported stolen.

On Monday, July 29 officers from the Property Crimes Unit spotted a person of interest operating a vehicle believed to be linked to the case.

Shortly after 11am, officers stopped a vehicle in the 3100 block of Walker Road and determined it had been reported stolen.

A number of items believed to be stolen were also discovered inside the vehicle.
