Windsor Man Faces Slew Of Charges In Three-Vehicle Crash

A 28-year-old Windsor man is facing a slew of charges after a three-vehicle crash at College Ave. and Campbell Ave.

Officers were called out to the crash around 6pm yesterday and found three severely damaged vehicles.

The driver and two children from one of the vehicles involved were sent to hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Police say a group of people nearby the crash brought one of the drivers to them claiming he had tried to run from the crash, but was caught.

Officers allege the suspect was under the influence of a drug when being arrested. Police seized prescription drugs and marijuana at the scene.

Police aslo say the suspect was allegedly driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen.

Charges include impaired driving, car theft and possession of marijuana. He's also charged with two counts of failing to stop at the scene of a crash causing bodily harm.
