Windsor Police Investigating Downtown Stabbing
Windsor police are on the hunt for two suspects after a stabbing in downtown Windsor.
Officers responded to a call around 1:15am on Monday in the area of Ouellette Ave. and Park St.
Police say a 22-year-old man was being treated by paramedics for a stab wound and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, the victim saw two men following another man in a threatening manner. The victim asked if the person was okay and one of the suspects pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.
Police say the two suspects fled the scene and were last seen running southbound on Ouellette Avenue.
The first suspect is described as 5'6", in his early 20s, medium build with olive skin and was wearing a grey and white jump suit.
The second suspect is described as 5'7", in his early 20s, medium build with olive skin and was wearing shorts and a sweater.
