Windsor Woman Faces Attempted Murder Charge in Stabbing

A 36-year-old Windsor woman faces a charge of attempted murder from a weekend incident.

Police were called to a home in the 1600 block of Rooney Street near Campbell Avenue Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

They determined an argument had taken place between a man and woman at the apartment.

The woman retrieved a knife and assaulted the man with it.

The suspect then stabbed another woman who was in the apartment and inflicted life threatening injuries.

The female victim was rushed to hospital.

Adrienne Plastow, 36, is charged with attempted murder, assault with a weapon and possession of a dangerous weapon.
