Wings Fall 4-1 To The Rangers

Ryan McDonagh scored twice to help the Rangers down the Red Wings, 4-1, at Joe Louis Arena.

Kevin Hayes and Derek Stepan each had a goal, while Antti Raanta turned away 23 shots.

New York has won three-of-four to give them 90 points.  They hold one of the two Wild Card spots in the Eastern Conference and are two points behind the Blue Jackets for third in the Metropolitan Division.

Frans Nielsen's score on the power play was the only offence Detroit would get.  The Wings have lost five-of-six.
