Wings Win Sixth Straight

Henrik Zetterberg's goal in the eighth round of the shootout gave the Red Wings a 2-1 win over the Blues in St. Louis.

Frans Nielsen tied it at one for Detroit with a shorthanded goal in the second period.  

Kevin Shattenkirk staked St. Louis to a 1-0 lead earlier in the frame.

Petr Mrazek made 31 saves for the Wings, who won their sixth in-a-row since an 0-and-2 start.  Jake Allen had 26 saves for St. Louis, which has lost four-of-five.

Detroit returns home to skate against the Boston Bruins tomorrow night at Joe Louis Arena.
