Colchester Women's 4 on 4 Recreational Hockey: The Colchester Women's 4 on 4 beginner recreational hockey league is looking for female hockey players for the 2017/18 hockey season. They are also looking for goalies. No experience necessary and beginner and intermediate players are welcome. All games to be played at Deuville's Rink. Maritime Baseball History
Dr. Colin Howell, retired history prof, SMU will present a perspective of Maritime baseball history with emphasis on the great H & D League and Truro's prominence in it. He will talk about the American influx and how great locals interacted with them on the field. Dr. Howell has written extensively about baseball in the region. The event is October 24th from 6:30 to 7 p.m., and admission is a free will offering ($2-$5).
