Storm cleanup continues across Nova Scotia
Atlantic Canada is continuing to dig out from yet another nasty winter storm that closed schools and government offices across the region.
The latest system brought snow, wind, and freezing rain, although one meteorologist said the snowfall amounts and wind were much less than that seen earlier in the week.
The province's 511 website reports nearly all roads in Nova Scotia, especially the major roads and highways, remain either covered or partly covered Friday morning.
The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal says in various reports over the past day that the roads are passable with caution.
Meteorologist Tracy Talbot says there should be a weather reprieve once the system clears out sometime Saturday, giving people a chance to clean up.
