2 people facing charges after Pictou County crash
Police say two people are facing charges following a two-vehicle crash in Pictou County.
The RCMP say it happened on Foxbrook Road in Foxbrook around 11 p.m. Monday.
Witnesses told police a northbound vehicle passed another vehicle on a double-solid line at a high rate of speed.
Police say the vehicle collided with an oncoming car a short distance down the road after the passenger grabbed the steering wheel while arguing with the driver.
The 19-year-old driver was arrested for impaired driving and dangerous driving, and was released with a May court date.
Police say charges are also pending against the 19-year-old passenger, who was taken to hospital and placed under arrest.
No one else was hurt.
