2003 death of Halifax man added to Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program

The 2003 death of a Halifax man has been added to the Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program.

24-year-old Raymond Floyd Peters was found in a Jackson Road apartment suffering from gun-shot wounds on January 7, 2003.

He was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the next day.

The program offers up to $150,000 to anyone who shares information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the crime.  

Individuals who come forward must provide their name and contact information, and may be called to testify in court.
