27-year-old woman identified as Hants County fatal fire victim

The identity of a 27-year-old woman found dead following a fire in South Rawdon Monday morning has been confirmed by RCMP, but is not being released at this time.

Corporal Jennifer Clarke says police have completed their examination of the fire scene, and the Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate the circumstances of the woman's death.

The victim's body was found in a garage, which RCMP say was fully engulfed when they arrived on scene.

Two children were rescued from an adjacent home without injury.
