Antigonish County man charged with multiple offences after fleeing from police

A Nova Scotia man is facing several charges after R-C-M-P say a motorcyclist fled a traffic stop, speeding up to 150 kilometres an hour to get away.

Mounties say officers tried to stop the bike after observing it speeding on Highway 4 in Tracadie in a 70 kilometre-per-hour zone.

They say the driver eventually stopped but he did not have a valid driver's licence, registration or liability insurance.

A 48-year-old man from Antigonish County faces several charges, including flight from police and operating a motor vehicle while its licence is revoked.
