Bible Hill man charged following armed robbery
A 25-year-old man has been charged, and three women were released without charges, following an armed robbery in Bible Hill.
Colchester District RCMP responded to a call from a coffee shop on Main Street just before 9 p.m. on Monday.
Police say the suspect pointed a gun at the two employees, screamed at them to put money in a duffel bag, and knocked a till over before fleeing.
A police dog from the Truro Police Service was called in to help, and four people were eventually arrested.
Two of the women were released that night, while a third was held overnight before being released.
Colby Devon McMaster of Bible Hill has been charged with robbery and wearing a mask while committing an indictable offence, and is due in court on Tuesday.
The RCMP say a search of the area yielded cash and a handgun, with evidence of the robbery was also seized during the search of a home on Main Street.
