Blizzard rolls through the Maritimes
The calendar might say spring, but another blizzard is rolling through the region.
A blizzard warning remains in effect in Pictou and Antigonish counties Thursday morning, as well as Cape Breton, with Environment Canada saying travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility.
The weather agency says a blowing snow advisory is in place for Cumberland County North/Cobequid Pass, and Colchester County North.
Areas under those warnings will see wind gusts of up to 90 km/h Thursday morning, with gusts of 70 km/h elsewhere, and another 2 to 5 cm of snow before the system moves out.
