Break and enter at Hope for Wildlife

Halifax District RCMP say cash has been stolen from the Hope for Wildlife in Seaforth.

Thieves forced their way through a locked door at the charitable wildlife rehabilitation and education program sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Thursday and 8:30 a.m. on Friday.

Police say an undetermined amount of cash, received through donations, was taken from a secured location, and the suspects also left a door wide open.

The RCMP say all of the wildlife present were not harmed and are accounted for.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
