Cape Breton drug bust leads to charges against 2 people
Two adults are facing drug charges following an investigation in Cape Breton's Richmond County.
Mounties say the executed a search warrant at a Louisdale residence last Friday.
They say officers seized a quantity of oxycodone and marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia.
Police say Patricia Ann Peeples, 52, and Herbert Joseph Sampson, 54, both of Louisdale, are each charged with possession of oxycodone and marijuana for the purposes of trafficking.
They were released on conditions following a court appearance Monday and are due back in court in April.
