Charges pending after Halifax Transit bus struck, injured 52-year-old woman
Police say charges are pending after a Halifax Transit bus struck a 52-year-old woman in a marked crosswalk Friday night, sending her to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Halifax Regional Police say charges are pending under the Motor Vehicle Act, although they would not say against whom.
Officers responded to the collision on Portland Street in Dartmouth at around 7:25 p.m.
They say the driver was a 49-year-old woman.
As of Saturday evening, there were no updates on the condition of the woman who was struck.
