Crack cocaine, marijuana seized during Wolfville traffic stop
A 20-year-old man is facing drug trafficking charges after a significant drug seizure in Wolfville.
A Kings District RCMP officer stopped a vehicle which had been driving the wrong way on a one-way street last Thursday evening.
Police say a plastic bag containing crack cocaine fell from the driver's clothing when he got out of the vehicle.
Daniel Obiang was arrested, and a subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered more cocaine, as well as marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a knife, and cash.
In total, RCMP say 51 grams of crack cocaine and 226 grams of marijuana were seized as a result of the traffic stop.
Obiang has been released from custody and is due in Kentville Provincial Court on January 16th.
