Cumberland County ER closures: March 10-16

The doctor's shortage continues in Nova Scotia and as such the province has announced another round of temporary daytime closures emergency rooms in Cumberland County next week.

The Nova Scotia Health Authority says the emergency department in Pugwash will be closed as follows next week:
- Sunday, March 10 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 12 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 13 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Thursday, March 14 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Friday, March 15 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.  
- Saturday, March 16 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The government says the emergency room at All Saints Springhill will be shut down for the following days and times:
- Sunday, March 10 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 12 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Thursday, March 14 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Friday, March 15 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, March 16 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The province has announced the emergency room in Parrsboro will be closed next week as follows:
- Sunday, March 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Monday, March 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Friday, March 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday, March 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Nova Scotia Health Authority says all emergency departments will be available overnight and anyone with a medical emergency should call 911.
