Dartmouth man charged with sexual assault, sexual interference

Halifax Regional Police (HRP) say a 45-year-old man is facing sexual assault charges.

Police were called to the Dartmouth General Hospital around 9 p.m. on Monday after a report of a sexual assault.

HRP says a man had approached and then sexually assaulted two female youths on the hospital grounds.

Kevin Charles Ellis of Dartmouth was arrested in the area a short time later.

He faces two counts each of sexual assault, sexual interference, and breach of recognizance, as well as four counts of breach of probation.
