Driver charged under Motor Vehicle Act following collision in Trenton
New Glasgow Regional Police have charged a driver under the Motor Vehicle Act following a two-vehicle collision in Trenton.
The Trenton Fire Department and Emergency Health Services also responded to the intersection of North Main Street and Park Road around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police say a Honda Civic was making a left turn onto the Trenton Connector when it was struck by a Chevrolet Cobalt.
Both vehicles sustained substantial damage and both had to be towed from the scene.
The Pictou County woman driving the Civic, which was carrying a 6-year old passenger, has been charged with failing to yield to vehicle already in the intersection when making a left turn.
Police say both drivers were not injured.
