Drug trafficking charges laid after the search of an Amherst home
The RCMP say a pair of 26-year-olds have each been charged with seven counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking after a drug bust in Amherst.
Cumberland County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, with assistance from the RCMP and Amherst Police Department, searched the home on Brownell Avenue on Saturday and seized cocaine, psilocybin, marijuana, LSD, MDMA, shatter, and prescription pills, as well as cash and drug paraphernalia.
The man and woman, both from Amherst, also each face a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
They're due to appear in court on October 30th.
