Drug trafficking charges laid against Indian Brook man

A 55-year-old man from Indian Brook has been charged after RCMP intercepted a shipment of prescription pills.

Police conducted a targeted traffic stop on Indian Road on October 6th following an investigation.

RCMP say a man in the passenger seat was in possession of a significant quantity of prescription pills, including hydromorphone, Dilaudid, and Percocet.

He was arrested, while the woman driving was not implicated in the incident.

Jerry Francis Sack faces four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance and is scheduled to appear in Truro Provincial Court on November 27th.
