Federal government announces $3 million in funding for 4-H
Ottawa is putting $3 million into 4-H programs.
The funding will help with the development and delivery of innovative 4-H programs and initiatives across Canada over the next three years.
4-H Canada will use the money to enhance its network of mentors, develop new outreach tools and to deliver grassroots programming with its provincial partner organizations.
The government says it will also help members grow their practical knowledge and leadership skills through conferences, exchanges, internships and hands-on learning activities.
4-H Canada has close to 25,000 members and more than 7,700 volunteer leaders.
