Ferry resumes service after operating on reduced schedule
Northumberland Ferries says all scheduled sailings for the remainder of Friday will continue as normal after announcing a reduced schedule between Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island earlier in the day.
After experiencing an electrical fault, which resulted in the cancellation of the 8 a.m. crossing from Caribou, N.S., the Holiday Island was back in service for the 11:15 a.m. crossing from P.E.I
The companys says the Confederation will take over the Holiday Island crossings and the Holdiay Island will take over the Confederation crossings for the rest of Friday.
