Former Halifax medical student convicted of first-degree murder looking for pen pal

A former Halifax medical student convicted of murdering a fellow student is looking for a pen pal while serving his life sentencing.

A jury found William Sandeson guilty of the first-degree murder of Taylor Samson last July.

Sandeson's profile is now on Canadian Inmates Connects, a website that bills itself as being dedicated to federal inmates in search of pen pals.

Sandeson says in the profile that he grew up on a farm and playing sports, and noted he is presently finishing an MBA while behind bars in Quebec's Donnacona Institution.
