Fox Point B&E suspect located, arrested and charged

Lunenburg District RCMP say they have located the second suspect in a break and enter in progress discovered by officers in the early morning hours of Thursday.

Officers responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle on Fox Point Road shortly before 3:00 a.m. on March 14.

RCMP say when they arrived they discovered a break and enter in progress and attempted to arrest the two suspects who were inside the home.

Police say one of the suspects fled into the nearby ocean and was arrested a short time afterwards, while a second man fled into the woods.

RCMP say the first suspect, 21-year-old Mason Gary Michael Brigley of Fox Point is charged with
- Obstruction
- Mischief
- Fail to comply with conditions
- Break and enter
- Take motor vehicle without consent

Police say he appeared in court Thursday and was released on conditions.

He is scheduled to appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court on march 27.

RCMP say the second suspect, a 25-year-old man of Bridgewater, was arrested Thursday evening in Hubbards.

Police say charges are pending but have not been laid at this time, and their investigation is ongoing.
