Gas, diesel prices take another big drop overnight

For the second time this week, fuel prices have taken a big drop.

Regular self-serve gas went down by another 5.6 cents per litre overnight to a new minimum price of $1.088 in the Truro area.

The pump price for gas has dropped by 11.6 cents per litre this week, after the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board invoked the interrupter clause on Wednesday.

The minimum price for diesel fell by 3.4 cents per litre overnight to $1.106, following the earlier 4.9 cent cut.
