Government points to record tourism revenue in 2018

The provincial government says tourism revenue hit a record high in 2018 at $2.61 billion.

That's up 0.3 per cent from 2017 despite a drop of 0.8 per cent visitors to an estimated 2.413 million.

Tourism Nova Scotia says the number of visitors by air grew for the third consecutive year, while visitation by road decreased three per cent, or 49,900.
