Graffiti appears on some rocks at Peggy's Cove
Graffiti has appeared on some of the rocks at Peggy's Cove.
CTV Atlantic reports the image of a symbol known as "Anarchy" has been found on a large rock facing the Atlantic.
In addition to Peggy's Cove, graffiti is also present at the nearby Polly's Cove Hiking Trail.
The RCMP tell CTV Atlantic they've had no reports of graffiti at Peggy's Cove.
CTV Atlantic says now the concern is how to remove the symbol from a rock that is millions of years old.
Nova Scotia's Department of Business, which oversees Peggy's Cove, says only that it's looking into it.
