Halifax woman charged following incident at Halifax library involving a replica firearm

A 30-year-old Halifax woman has been charged in connection with an incident at the Halifax Central Library.

Officers responded to a complaint just before 5 p.m. yesterday that a person was in the downtown building with a firearm.

Police arrested two people without incident and seized a replica firearm.

Caitlan Greenwell is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face one count each of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and carrying a concealed weapon.
